The Ceramic Premium scope
Ceramic Premium considers paint cleaning, correction assessment and ceramic coating as connected stages. Clay treatment addresses bonded deposits, while polishing follows the condition of the clearcoat and existing marks. The extent to which holograms or wash marks can be improved is discussed during inspection. Avoiding unnecessary abrasion on areas that cannot tolerate further correction is an important part of a sensible preparation plan.
Application and handover planning
The prepared surface receives the coating according to the chosen system. Any layering and curing approach described in the service plan should be confirmed with the dealer against the current product and conditions. Planning follows the vehicle’s condition, the application stages and product instructions, with handover requirements explained clearly. Final inspection covers appearance, residue and the aftercare information needed once the vehicle leaves the workshop.
Caring for a coated vehicle
A coated vehicle still needs regular washing with suitable methods. Bird droppings, resin and heavy contamination should be removed promptly. Harsh brushes and unsuitable chemicals can affect the finish. Your dealer will explain first-wash and water-exposure requirements for the applied product. If water behaviour changes, surface cleanliness should be checked before assuming the coating needs replacement or adding another treatment.
