Metals and finishes differ
Ceramic metal coating is planned by assessing wheels, exhaust tips and metal or chrome-look parts according to their actual finish. Painted, coated and bare metal can need different care. Correct removal of brake dust, road grime and oxidation is central to preparation. The selected product is checked against the actual finish on each component, allowing suitable application areas to be identified before work starts.
Cleaning and a suitable coating
The surface is cleaned of dirt and grease, with existing damage or corrosion inspected before work. Once compatibility is established, the product is applied carefully and checked for residue. Areas with corrosion receive a separate review of the preparation or repair work needed before protective care. For components exposed to heat, product selection follows their operating conditions and compatibility with the existing finish.
Care follows the component’s use
Cleaning methods after application should suit both the part and the product. Unsuitable practices, such as applying cleaners to hot surfaces, should be avoided. Prompt removal of heavy brake dust and road grime supports appearance. Existing paint, intensity of use and cleaning habits all affect the result. Periodic inspection helps establish whether renewal or a different type of maintenance is appropriate for the actual component.
