Understanding the cabin

Interior detailing goes beyond wiping visible surfaces. Seat gaps, floor carpets, mats, door panels and the luggage compartment are considered together. Embedded dirt in fabric and signs of use on leather need different approaches. An initial inspection identifies stain types, sensitive finishes and existing wear, allowing the work to follow a suitable sequence without treating every material in the same way.

Fabric, leather and hard surfaces

After initial vacuuming, upholstery and carpets are cleaned using suitable equipment. Leather, plastic, vinyl and wood-effect trim are treated according to their surface characteristics. The dashboard, controls and interior glass receive a final check. Parts that cannot tolerate excessive moisture require particular care; headlining and electronic controls are examples where a controlled method is especially important for the finished result.

Using the vehicle after cleaning

Moisture and product residues are checked before handover, with drying requirements explained for the chosen process. Stain type and existing wear are reviewed when checking the finished result and discussing further care options. Regular vacuuming and prompt attention to small spills help maintain the cabin afterwards. Burns, tears or colour loss should be assessed separately for repair rather than presented as a cleaning problem alone.
