Marks left by the marine environment
Salt, sunlight and everyday use can leave dullness or deposits on suitable exterior finishes. C-Marine Care polishing considers cleaning and improving those superficial effects. Paint, gelcoat and other finishes differ from one another. Inspection identifies the material and the depth of wear, allowing abrasive work to be selected for the surface rather than using the same level of correction on every mark.
A controlled polishing approach
The surface is cleaned of dirt and salt before an appropriate compound and equipment are selected. Its response is monitored during polishing, and residues and machine marks are checked. Suitable finishing wax or protection may be added if agreed. Deep damage, missing paint and structural problems are not repaired by polishing; those areas need a separate maintenance or repair assessment before choosing further work.
Maintain care around actual use
After marine surface work, regular condition checks remain important. Salt deposits, sunlight, contact and cleaning habits can influence the result. Ask your dealer to explain the treated areas, appropriate care products and any conditions before returning the vessel to use. If new marks, wear or damage appear, reassessment is preferable to aggressive treatment and helps identify a suitable next step for that surface.
